It's what you guys have been asking for and now after a LONG time, we are happy to announce the launch of our 100% US Grown Dried Mealworms! Our organically fed US mealworms are high in protein and essential fatty acids, making them the most nutritious and delicious treat for your flock! 

Farming for the Future
 Chubby Mealworms is very excited to be working exclusively with Beta Hatch to bring these mealworms to you. Beta Hatch have been researching and refining the most efficient way of growing mealworms for several years now. They believe in harnessing the incredible potential of insects to change our food systems.
It's a really big deal and we are super excited to be not only part of their project but have exclusivity to sell their 100% Organically fed (non-GMO) Mealworms.

Supply
Unfortunately growing mealworms on a large sustainable scale is not easy!
While production capacity is increasing we will only a have a small quantity of product available each month. To begin with, these will only be sold in 2.5lb bags and are restricted to a maximum of 4 per customer. We expect these to sell out very fast and we are sorry if they are not available when you try to order them.

Feed 2 tablespoons to each bird daily.
Always ensure fresh water is available.

The BEST!

I Love the US GROWN part... not sure the chickies quite know the difference yet, but they WILL...and as far as mealworms, this is one of the best training tools ever. I've been buying Chubby Mealworms for years now. One hint? If your chickens are pets, use a regular time for the treat, and make up a really cute cue. Mine is "WORM TIME!!!" Dumb, but probably too late to change... "Do you love me?" Could have been sweet (they all come RUNNING, eating out of my hand."

Pick a good trigger phrase, and this product simply rocks.

US Grown Chubby Mealworms

I have had a couple orders already of the US grown Chubby Mealworms; they are outstanding. When you open the sealed package, they have a pleasant fragrance—a very nice surprise.

I’ll be buying again. So happy it’s an American product too. I’ve purchased the regular Chubby mealworms as well, and my chickens and ducks loved them too—even though the American product is more expensive, I feel the US grown mealworms are a better quality.
