We are very pleased to be able to finally share our new website with you. We have spent a lot of time creating the new site and we believe it is a big improvement in many areas and you should find it easier and quicker to use.
And the bad news...
Unfortunately though it simply was not possible for us to copy across customers passwords and for this reason all customers who already had an account with us need to register a NEW account. Once you have registered a new account, provided that you use the same email address on your new account as the old one, all old address and orders details will be added into your new account as well as your Chubby Reward points.
Check your email from 11-21-2016
All customers who had an account with us on our old website should have received an email from us on 11-21-2016 asking you to activate your new account. If you still have this email it is the easiest way of doing this. All you need to do is click the link in this email and then type the same password in twice and then you have your new account.
How to activate your account without an email?
Click Login / Register right at the top of the page:
- Then fill in the 'New Customers' form on the left hand side. DO NOT use the Existing Customers form, this is only for use once you have created a new account on this site:
- Once you have completed this form and clicked 'Sign Me Up' you should be emailed a link to verify your email address. This should arrive within just a few seconds but could take a few minutes. Check your junk mail if you don't receive it. If it never arrives please contact us and we will figure it out for you. You can proceed to place an order without creating / re-activating your account though. As long as the email address on the order is the same it will automatically be added to your account along with your old orders and your Chubby Rewards will still be collected.
- When you get your Activate your Chubby Mealworms email click the link and then choose a password and enter it twice and then click activate account:
- That should be it then, you should be in your account and all your past orders, addresses and Chubby Rewards should be visible.
Still having problems?
These are the most common problems:
Problem: You are trying to login and get an 'Invalid login credentials' message.
Solution: You are using the existing customer form to try and login. You must register as a new customer (even though you had an account on our old website and have ordered from us many times before!).
Problem: After logging in your old orders are not shown.
Solution: If this happens it means no orders in our system match your email address. Either the email you have just signed up with is different (check spelling) or the email address on your old orders was different. Please contact us here with your new account email address and name plus an old order number if you have one and we will look into it further. If you need to place an order please proceed to do this and we will fix your account problems as soon as we can.
Problem: You are not getting the account activation email.
Solution: We understand this is very frustrating! Please check the email address used was typed correctly, please try again if unsure. Please check your junk folder to see if it has gone in there. If it still does not arrive please contact us and we will figure it out for you. You can proceed to place an order without creating / re-activating your account though. As long as the email address on the order is the same it will automatically be added to your account along with your old orders and your Chubby Rewards will still be collected.
We are really sorry that you have to create a new account and appreciate that this can be very frustrating especially if it is not a smooth process. There was simply no way round this though, without taking this step we would have been stuck on an ecommerce platform that we felt was not allowing us to move forward and improve our customer experience.
